Terms and Conditions

1. Design Ownership 1.a. All designs and renderings remain the exclusive property of Closets by Lex until full payment is received. 1.b. Unauthorized use or reproduction of designs and renderings is prohibited.

2. Payment Terms 2.a. A 60% deposit is due upon acceptance of proposals/designs to secure the installation date. 2.b. A 25% payment is due the first day of installation. 2.c. The remaining 15% balance is due upon completion of the installation. 2.d. Submission of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and is considered legally binding, equivalent to a signed contract. 2.e. All deposits are nonrefundable. 2.f. Late payments will incur a 1.5% monthly feestarting from the date of completion. 2.g. In the case of non-payment or disputes, all collection costs, including attorney fees, will be added to any resolution amount.

3. Cancellation Policy 3.a. This Agreement is binding upon receipt of the deposit. 3.b. All deposits are nonrefundable. 3.c. The Client acknowledges the right to seek legal counsel before signing and confirms understanding of all contract terms.

4. Force Majeure 4.a. Closets by Lex will not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its control. 4.b. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war, strikes, or shortages.

5. Delays 5.a. Closets by Lex reserves the right to delay installation for reasonable causes beyond its control.

6. Additional Work 6.a. Any additional work must be authorized by Closets by Lex prior to commencement. 6.b. Additional work will incur extra charges, billed upon completion.

7. Installation 7.a. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all closets and work areas are emptied prior to installation. 7.b. A clear path from the entrance to the work area must be provided. 7.c. Gaps are inherent in installations. 7.d. Cabinets are adjustable and do not include back paneling unless specified. 7.e. Pricing is subject to change based on final verified measurements. 7.f. All applicable taxes are included in the proposal.

8. Client Responsibilities 8.a. The Client agrees to provide timely feedback and approvals to prevent delays. 8.b. Closets by Lex is not responsible for delays beyond its control.

9. Change Orders 9.a. Client-initiated changes exceeding 25% post-project commencement require written documentation and approval. 9.b. Any additional costs will be communicated and agreed upon prior to proceeding.

10. Liability 10.a. Closets by Lex is not liable for damages to existing structures unrelated to installation. 10.b. Liability is limited to the total amount paid under this Agreement.

11. Warranties 11.a. A 12-month warranty is provided on materials and installation. 11.b. This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
